Silent Solo

I walk, You walk.
I talk, you talk.
But when you sing, i cant compare.
Broken and battered it's hard to share.
The feelings inside, i know their there.
But still my words, don't seem to care.
And still, walk on they say... walk on.
Because when you sing, you sing that song.
The song to end... a night so long.
But in the end, its still the same.
I walk, you walk.
I talk, you talk...


No soul

You walked right through me
You spoke right to me
With blood on the floor
More in my hands
I felt the screams
my violent plans
I plotted your death
Smooth crisp and clean
Maybe, just maybe you should have listened
But you refused
Talking and talking the noise went on
Please stop, please stop
I asked you to stop
Your no soul, no heart
just stop before you start
but wait.. you can't
your dead, stop breathing
soon you'll stop moving because of all that bleeding


Both of these are kind of taint, but strong meanings.

Not the greatest poet, and not the most well liked person who could post here, but, I'm going to anyway.

Here I stand
With empty hands
Just a shadow of a former man
who used to walk these empty lands.

Here I'll stay
Until the day
They come to me with lock and chain
to forcibly remove the light of day.

That just isn't poetry! T_T

i really dont write poetry that much, in fact the one i put on here was one of the first acctual poems i made. and if its good, it will only get better

Haha, good teacher. Maybe she's just pushing you forward to get more A's in writing? I don't mean to be bossy or anything, I swear. I just think, or feel, or... Sense that you're better off with singing; but then again.. A person can have multiple hobbies. I do the writing too as you can see. : P (O_O Awesome, I'm in the Conservatoire. If you know what that is. xD Mom let me apply there at the age of 9. Since she've heard me sing a couple of songs by Amy Lee, because my uncle loves her. >_> Yes, epyk family.)

my teacher wants me to write more XD and that poetry is one of my things, just as guitar and 'singing' (btw im going into chorus next year, and percussion ensemble and guitar ensemble)

How do myself, and your teacher have opposite opinions if I said the exact thing? They're depressing, but pretty good. I didn't say they weren't. I just said your thing isn't poems.. You know that, though. You know you're a 'singer' by nature. Like me. ^^

Brandon; Chill. v.v -Covers eyes.- It was pretty depressing, but I can't say mine weren't the same. It sorta brings a dizzy good feeling. Deep. Almost there.

Okay, some of my truest psychic, too much thinking moments..

I don't know what I'm supposed to say...
Can someone please hand me the answers?
Because this is the part of the test,
I never studied for.
My emotions spill across my face,
I can't keep everything behind the mask.
I can say I'm fine, when really, I'm not.
What is wrong with me today?
Why cant I just push everything away?
Let me go to sleep, please leave me alone..
This is the only day in history that I'm happy to be home.
I shouldn't be vomiting out my torn-up heart for you to see.
Because I doubt any of you care...
Why am I asking for sympathy?
I never said I was...
I'm speechless, but at least not confused anymore.

I speak too much, but never say,
Any of the things I need to.
So if I say I'm fine,
Don't bother looking into it.
I always gloss over the parts,
I'd rather not let you see,

A Black Haired Beauty

As beautiful as the Wind,
As beautiful as the Earth,
He warms me,
Like a hearth.

As beautiful as the Water,
As beautiful as a Fire,
It is true that he is,
My heart’s desire.

A black haired beauty,
Spirit shines in his eyes,
As beautiful as emeralds,
Truly a surprise.

By Moon, by stars,
By my heart be true,
My heart keeps pounding!
What am I to do?

Sitting behind me,
I feel his breath,
Steady breath behind me,
And a flutter in my chest.



((The rhyme scheme is off in the 3rd stanza, but according to several people, it still fits. So, yay?))

In life suffering is inescapable.
Mother Selene and Father Helios Watch
as illness and other evils of life appear.
the sickness separates us from life and
leaves you with the crippled, yourself.
During the day and night you are alone
rotting with the corpse of your old life.
Death is inevitable, Destruction will come.
Life isn't your own any more, fall to
your knees and beg for the Plague to
pass you by.

Well, it didn't work the last time, so I'm making this post one more time for people to post the poetry they've written before on here. I need opinions on my own, especially the one I'll post next. I just wrote it down, an Hour ago or so.

He doesn't realize the hurting inside my soul.
Or the desperate wanting of finally becoming whole.
He doesn't care about my regrets.
Or the fact that the past is something I'd like to forget.

Forget all I want, though, it'll never go away.
Dream all you want, but reality will come back anyway.
He doesn't know anything about my life in my dreams.
Because he thinks that I'm exactly how I seem.
I'm not though, and I never have been.

He doesn't know what pain feels like when it's coming from within.
Nothing can make us be something that we're not.
Even if, in reality, we're the only thing we've got.
Embrace your greatest fears, do it for me.

Who cares about everybody else and what they'll think?
He doesn't feel completely lost,
He doesn't know what it feels like have life and death crossed.
He only knows how to be himself,
But maybe that's because he doesn't care about anybody else.

Even though I know that's not true, I must confess it as an option.
Because his mind is a fearful, angry, terrifying concoction.
So what do you do, when you love someone who could never love you back?
It's simple really;
You just wait around and watch as your entire world turns to black.
